Every Year the paddock floods, but only mostly one one half, I had anticipated this earlier and built little walkways across the water into their shed which is raised up so nice and dry inside.
I trained them earlier to use the planks (covered in old bit of carpet to stop them sliding in the wet), a bucket with some food soon gave them the idea. They get pleanty of hay and dont even really need to come out.  But as soon as they see me all five come cantering along the planks, they not fazed by the floods.
Luckily the water disappears as quickly as it comes.
